About Your Teacher

Natasha Hiseley

Mrs. Hiseley

Hi! My name is Natasha Hiseley. This is my first year as a teacher and I am thrilled! I graduated from Bluejacket High School in 2002. Many years later, I graduated from NEO A&M College with an Associate's Degree in Psychology. I then attended Northeastern State Univeristy, where I graduated in December 2017, with a Bachelor's Degree in English Education. I currently teach all subjects for 4th grade and I also teach 7th grade English.

My husband and I have been married since 2002 and we have 4 kids - Samuel (15yrs.), Elizabeth (14 yrs.), Josiah (12 yrs.), and Silas (2 yrs.).  I enjoy traveling, spending time with my family, reading, writing, music, shopping, coffee, running, and simply laughing!

I am looking forward to a successful and spectacular year, as I return to Bluejacket, full of Chieftain pride!

Oklahoma Academic Standards

This website explains in detail what your fourth grader is supposed to learn this year.  These are all the standards they will be tested on in April, during state testing.  The State Department is making these tests increasingly more important to your child's life.  For example, many of these tests must be passed to graduate from high school, or to obtain a drivers license at 16, and some are required to even move on to the following grade!  It is easier to pass the tests in high school if you are on track in grade school.

It is my responsibility to provide your child with the knowledge needed to pass these tests, as well as your child's responsibility to put out the effort to gain that knowledge.  With a combination of effort from me, your child, and you, the parents, WE CAN DO THIS!
