Dear Chieftains:
We are on the downhill slide of our 2026 school year! Baseball, Track, FFA, Field Trips, Awards Assemblies, State Tests - Name it and it's happening! You'll find the attached 2026-2027 Board approved calendar. We are currently taking transfers for the upcoming school year. We are continuing our virtual school for grades 6-12 again this year. We want every student to have their academic and social/emotional needs met. We understand that not all students are traditional students. We continue to provide virtual academy and allow for students to participate in extra curricular activities. Contact me, Mrs. Baker, for more information on this option!
Please reach out to me or our Board of Education members if you have any questions, concerns, encouraging words or just to visit! We're constantly working to provide a safe and educational environment for our students, staff and community! We're here to serve!

The Office of Accountability is reaching out to remind schools that if they have not already posted the link to the Oklahoma School Report Card: www.oklaschools.com on their school website that under the ESSA, beginning with information from the 2017-2018 school year, report cards must be posted annually on SEA and LEA websites. (ESEA section 1111(h) (1) (A), (B)(iii) and (h)(2)(A), (B)(iii)). At the core of the Oklahoma School Report Cards is the belief that all students can grow and all schools can improve. While no student report card tells the full story of a child, no school report card tells the full story of a school. Education is far more than a single score or letter grade, but it is important that families and communities can see both strengths and areas that need support and improvement.If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact the Office of Accountability at (405) 522-5169 or accountability@sde.ok.gov. You may also contact the Bluejacket School administration regarding the school report card information.
Reminder: 24/7 Tobacco-Free Schools Act
House Bill 1685, also known as the 24/7 Tobacco-Free Schools Act, went into effect August 20, 2015. It requires that schools be tobacco-free 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This law prohibits the use of tobacco in any form while on school grounds and during any school-sponsored functions held off campus. Bluejacket Public School has been tobacco free since 2012. Please refrain from the use of any tobacco product, including vaping. Thank you!Reminder: 24/7 Tobacco-Free Schools Act
HB1046 (Requiring schools have audit info on front page of their website) went into effect on Nov. 1, 2021.

Chieftain Public Service Immunization Announcement:
"For school enrollment, a parent or guardian shall provide one of the following:
1. Current, up-to-date immunization records - can be accessed by going to the following OSIIS link ;
or
2. A completed and signed exemption form."
Required Immunizations link to the Oklahoma State Department of Health
All students of all grade levels have a required & current immunization record or a state approved exemption form on file with the school prior to their admission to school AND this information is made available to parents on the school website. 70 O.S. § 1210.191
