Sara Brewer
Hello, my name is Sara Brewer. I am excited to be working with your kids this year! This is my second year teaching. Before teaching, I worked in mental health for four years as an Expressive Therapist at Willow Crest and Behavioral Health Coach at Grand Lake Mental Health Center.
In my free time I like to spend time with my family. My husband and I had a beautiful baby girl in June of 2021 and I have a bonus son. We try living an active life style and enjoy hiking, going on walks in different nature parks and playing outside with our dog, Simba.

This website explains in detail what your fourth grader is supposed to learn this year. These are all the standards they will be tested on in April, during state testing. The State Department is making these tests increasingly more important to your child's life. For example, many of these tests must be passed to graduate from high school, or to obtain a drivers license at 16, and some are required to even move on to the following grade! It is easier to pass the tests in high school if you are on track in grade school.
It is my responsibility to provide your child with the knowledge needed to pass these tests, as well as your child's responsibility to put out the effort to gain that knowledge. With a combination of effort from me, your child, and you, the parents, WE CAN DO THIS!
