Updated COVID-19 Resource Flow Charts: Symptoms, Illness & Quarantine FAQs from the Oklahoma Health Department - August 2021 & 2022

Chieftain Families: Use this important documentation when determining public outings, ie: coming to school! Refer to this guidance throughout this time as we are constantly receiving updates from the CDC and our county health department.

In preparation for the federal funding: ARP ESSER II & III that is coming to our public school, these meetings will be used to discuss and plan on how to best utilize the funds received for Bluejacket Public School.

As new information and training is shared through the Summer 2022 and 2023 School Year, we’ll continue to meet and update and revise our school plan. We invite all Chieftains Staff, community members, and organizations that have an interest in Bluejacket Public School to join the meetings or if you have input, please share it with Superintendent Shellie Baker: or 918-784-2365

Prospective Dates & Meeting places will vary. Please call the day before to request location.

  • May 17, 2021 - Discussion, Consultation and Plans with BPS Staff for the end of year/upcoming school year(s) and usage of ARP ESSER II & III funds

  • May 26, 2021 - Discussion, Consultation and Plans for the upcoming school year(s) and usage of ARP ESSER II & III funds - Public Input reminder & opportunity.

  • July 28, 2021 - Further discussion and plans for the upcoming school year(s) and usage of ESSER II & III funds

  • July 29, 2021 - Return to Learn Planning with CDC and BPS Administration via ZOOM

  • August 3, 2021 - Continued consultation on ESSER II & III funds for upcoming school year(s) - ADMIN retreat

  • August 9, 2021 - More input for ARP/ESSER II & III Funds from beginning of year Staff Development - Public Input welcome.

  • December 1, 2021 - Six month overview and revision of Chieftains Safe Return To Learn, Continuity of Services & ARP ESSER Plan

  • May 16, 2022 - Six month overview and revision for June 22, 2022 deadline of Chieftains Safe Return To Learn, Continuity of Services & ARP ESSER Plan with end of year Professional Development and Public Input welcome.

  • May 31, 2022 - Six month overview and revisions input for plan with BPS Admin team and summer school teaching staff

  • August 15, 2022 - Stakeholders meeting to begin the new 2023 school year. Public Input Welcome!

  • September 20, 2022 - Federal Programs Zoom meeting to review expenditures and reasonings for insurance & utility claims. Meeting with General Staff & Admin team to determine possible new budget for SY23

Gymnasium Covid Guidance for Bluejacket Public School

Chieftains, Please note: We've updated our Gym Covid policy! We are requiring masks to be worn at all times!

This will apply to all gymnasiums and all activities!

We're asking all of our Chieftains to respect these procedures for the safety of our Chieftains Family.

These rules and regulations will be similar throughout area gymnasiums. Please follow their guidelines when visiting as well.

We're also asking for only season seat holders & only immediate family members of student athletes to attend games.

We need to keep capacity down and try and maintain social distancing as much as possible.

This pandemic has truly changed our way of life. However, we will get through it and we'll get through it together!
